This is funny because I do it to other people all the time. Well, the proverbial table's about to be turned. I noticed on the technicians part log board the comment "NEED VT". I told John, "Partial to Blacksburg?" He laughed as I walked off. Then he called after me: "VPINSU." Greg: "What?" John: "VPINSU!" Greg: "Oh, um... (thinking) What's the 'I' stand for?" John: "Institute." Greg: (thinking) "What's the 'N' stand for?" John: "'N'?! It's AND!" Greg: "Oh, I thought you said 'N'. Umm, what's the 'S' stand for?" John: "State." Greg: "Oh, OK. Heh heh heh..." I then proceeded to append "ODU, & W&MU" to the board comment. Just then Diane came in. Diane: "WHOA WHOA WHOA..." she yelled as she erased the ODU and W&MU. "Don't mess with our board!" Greg: "Oops, I didn't think you were coming back so quick." Diane: "Yeah, that's what my kids say, too." John: "Umm, what's W&MU?" Greg: "(sigh) W&MC, okay??" John: "You mean C of W&M." Greg: "EVERYONE'S A PEDAGOGUE!" |
