Adobe Annoyance

I find it very ANNOYING that every time Adobe Acrobat Reader updates in MS Windows it creates a desktop shortcut that I end up deleting to control my desktop clutter. It is Acrobat READER! Why would I want to bring that up by itself instead of clicking on what I want to read?

Today I thought, before I deleted the icon:

"I tried to create a PDF from scratch from Acrobat Reader icon and I can't. I know it is READER, but for what other purpose are they putting this icon on my desktop?!"

If you leave the shortcut alone, it will just overwrite it each time. I wonder if you put it in Unused Desktop Shortcuts, it would get overwritten by the patch, but not show up on your main desktop?

ah!

That is too elegant. I just want to moan about Adobe!
